Terms of Service
These terms define how you may use ThreadHub, what responsibilities remain yours when working with AI chat content, and how local storage, third-party platforms, and paid features are handled.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ThreadHub, including our Chrome extension, website, support channels, and related features. By installing, accessing, or using ThreadHub, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What ThreadHub provides
ThreadHub helps you read, copy, bookmark, annotate, organize, and export AI chat content from supported third-party platforms. It is a productivity layer for conversations you access through those platforms.
ThreadHub is not an AI model provider, chatbot, model aggregator, or replacement for the third-party services where your conversations occur.
3. Third-party platforms
ThreadHub may work on services such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Notion, Obsidian, or other tools you choose to use. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, or those other third parties unless we expressly say so. You are responsible for following each third-party service's terms, policies, rate limits, and content rules.
4. Accounts and security
Some features may require an account, subscription, license key, or browser profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials, browser profile, and exported files secure.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or paid access has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ThreadHub to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
- Access, copy, export, or share content that you are not authorized to use.
- Interfere with ThreadHub, supported platforms, browser security controls, or other users.
- Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service except as allowed by law or a written agreement with us.
- Upload, export, or share malware, abusive content, or content that infringes another person's rights.
6. Your content and exported materials
You retain your rights in the prompts, AI responses, notes, annotations, bookmarks, and files you create or export with ThreadHub, subject to any rights held by third-party platforms or other content owners.
You are responsible for reviewing exported Markdown, PDF, PNG, JSON, or other files before relying on them, publishing them, or sharing them with others.
7. Local storage and backups
Many ThreadHub features store data locally in your browser. Browser resets, extension removal, profile deletion, device failure, or manual storage clearing may permanently delete local data. You are responsible for exporting or backing up information you want to keep.
8. Paid features, trials, and billing
If we offer paid plans, the checkout page or plan screen will describe the price, billing period, renewal terms, included features, trial rules, and cancellation process. Taxes may apply based on your location and payment method.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Refunds, chargebacks, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are handled under the plan terms shown at purchase and any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply.
9. Changes, availability, and beta features
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or limit features at any time, including when third-party AI platforms change their page structure, browser policies, or extension rules. Beta or experimental features may be incomplete, change without notice, or stop working.
10. Intellectual property
ThreadHub, including its software, design, branding, website, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ThreadHub for your own personal or internal business productivity, subject to these terms.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how ThreadHub handles information. By using the service, you acknowledge that the Privacy Policy applies to your use of ThreadHub.
12. Disclaimers
ThreadHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation. You are responsible for deciding whether exported or copied AI content is accurate and appropriate for your use.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruptions, browser storage loss, third-party platform changes, or AI output errors. Our total liability for any claim relating to ThreadHub will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100, whichever is greater.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ThreadHub at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts, paid features, or support if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service, or used the service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
